One of the most common things I am asked for are breakfast ideas. I thought I would combine all the breakfast recipes I have posted here for an easy to use reference guide when deciding what to make when you want something quick, easy, tasty and nutritious for the start of the day.
And here are some individual recipes that I love making my kids (and Mr MMM) for breakfast:
No Added Sugar Carrot & Apple Muffins – for this recipe I didn’t amend it at all. It is so yummy and I freeze these so they are easy to take out the night before ready for next morning.
Sugar Free Pancakes – This is a basic pancake recipe that you can add pretty much anything to – be it fruit, nuts, or even some cheeky chocolate chips! Yum!!
Baby Flapjacks – Even at 2 years old these are still a firm favourite with Little Lady and they make a great breakfast item as you can freeze them and just take out as many as you need. They are also great for breakfast on the go as they aren’t messy at all to eat.
Just Like Mummy’s Mug Cake – I LOVE mugs cakes but all the ones I eat are loaded with sugar and certainly not suitable for breakfast but this recipe is sugar free so perfect for a quick, tasty and comforting breakfast for you and your kids.
No Sugar Banana Bread – Another yummy recipe containing one of my favourite ingredients – the yummy banana. This is great for breakfast but also perfect for a mid morning or afternoon snack. It’s really filling and makes a great start to the day.
These two links are perfect for those of you with egg allergic people in your house. They are as yummy as all the other recipes above but are completely free of egg so perfectly safe to eat.
